Do you match laminate wood flooring to your cabinets?

Question by Infamous OC: Do you match laminate wood flooring to your cabinets?
Do you usually match wood flooring (or laminate wood flooring) to your cabinet color? I'm thinking of doing a laminate flooring in my house and wanted to know if I should match the floor to the cabinets or if I should go with a darker flooring.
